The Maxwell School Website is comprised of

• various central pages, containing general information about the School as a whole (e.g., The School and Its Faculty, Admission and Finances, Career and Alumni Support); and

• numerous affiliated sites maintained by the academic departments and programs, research centers and institutes, and other units of the Maxwell School.

The current version of the central Maxwell School central website was introduced in January 2004, as an upgrade of a comprehensive re-launch in September 2001.  Notes about the website template design are available online.

Central pages are maintained by the Maxwell School Dean's Office; these pages reside in the /deans, /admission, /inside, /news, and /perspective sections of the site. Chief editor of these pages is Dana Cooke, Maxwell School publications manager.

Hosting services, web-software support services, and other extensive support to all websites on the www.maxwell.syr.edu domain are provided by Information and Computing Technologies. E-mail Matt Coulter at webmaster@maxwell.syr.edu with questions about server software and capabilities, and for new websites or problems with existing websites on Maxwell's web servers.

Further credit: During creation of the central Maxwell website in September 2001, extensive support, technical and otherwise, was provided by Kabir Kumar, then a master's candidate in public administration and international relations. Additional design, production, and text support were also provided by Tanya Beer, another master's candidate in public administration, who, like Kumar, graduated in June 2002. Design and technical execution of the site upgrade, launched in January 2004, was done by Lauren Burke, then a master's candidate in public administration; she received her MPA during the summer of 2003.
